From French Creek to Nashville

back to homepage

Well, it's been a bit since my last picture update, so I've got a ton of new pictures.  I'm gonna just start with some random pictures that don't really fit into any of the montages I have here.

My current keyboard setup.  That's a Korg Triton, a Hammond B-3 and a Fender Rhodes.

Billy Voight dressed as Jessica.  She left some of her clothes at my apartment when they moved out, and here they are.

Sheerest Hypocricy

Curt Mangan is the guy who make the strings my band uses.  I saw this sign, and had to take a picture.
Next we move on to the most geeky part of today's update, the line party for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

Apparently, I got on the local news for a minute.  Oh well.

As Stewie says - "yes, yes, it's good to pretend,"

Jesse was excited (we had waited in line for the 5th book as well).  Jessica was not so thrilled.

But the Punisher seemed to be having a good time.

Even the cops showed up, as you can see in the picture above.  As far as I know, there were to serious incidents, though.

The line was huge, stretching around the entire store, down every aisle, and out the front door.

But that didn't concern me.  I was out of there by 12:15, having been fifth in line.

We went to go see Tom Petty play with The Black Crowes at Montage Mountain.

We parked about 6 miles down the mountain and walked the rest of the way (I thought I was going to die)

Steve was the one who secured the ticket.

Billy came with his Rumor Hazzit shirt

On the way back, we met this girl, Athena.  She'd had a fight with her friend, who then left her on the side of the highway.  We took her home.

Billy and I went down to Nashville for a weekend to scout out some places we might live in when we move at the end of september.  We stayed with Seth's cousin and her husband, who both were awesome.  For instance, they wanted to get rid of some dining room set, so they put it out in the yard with these signs:

They so sweat peaveys in Nashville

We visited the Gibson Showcase in the Opry mall

Billy had fun playing one of the pricey guitars for awhile

As you can see, I was pretty butch by the end of the trip  (Butch is band lingo for tired [or homely])

I also went to visit French Creek a few times while Stephen, Davd and Paul were there.  Here are some of those pictures.
